Masaryk University in collaboration with the European Commission, DG INFSO, the South Moravian Region, Brno
University of Technology and partners based both in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries organize an
international partnering event in the field of Information and Communication Technologies of the 7th Framework
Programme, calls 5 and 6 of the ICT Work Programme 2009. ICT Information Day & Brokerage Event 2009 is an
official event of the Czech Presidency of the EU and an accompanying
event of the conference Research
Connection 2009.
The conference will be held in Brno, the second largest city of the Czech Republic, and a strong base of research and innovation planning huge investments into top class infrastructure in the field of ICT. The brokerage event will be accompanied by information day on the calls 5 and 6 of the ICT Work Programme 2009.
The aim of the partnering event is to foster international collaboration in EU research projects and to contribute to synergies between Structural Funds and FP7 funding.
