On March 25 and 29, 2021, the first meeting of the SeARcH ENGINE project (Strengthening Educational and AwaReness Campaign in Automatic Recognition for Higher Education Institutions - Engage-Inform-Implement) took place. The webinar was held in English. The main goal of this webinar was to introduce the concept of automatic recognition and its use in practice.
The online seminar was attended by about a hundred Czech and foreign participants, who had the opportunity to listen to professional lectures from Czech and foreign experts in the field of automatic recognition, participate in discussions and get examples of good practice in foreign recognition from Charles University, Italy, the Netherlands, Latvia, European Commission and EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education). In the field of higher education, the Czech Republic considers the introduction of the concept of automatic recognition by 2025 to be essential for the development of the internationalization of higher education. In its Internationalization Strategy, the Czech Republic has committed itself to ensuring automatic recognition through methodological and consulting support, which also includes the coordination of the SeARcH ENGINE project.
