On 24 April 2020, the Act No. 188/2020 Coll., On Special Rules for Education and Decision-Making at Higher Education Institutions in 2020 and on the Assessment of Study Period for the Purposes of Other Acts, was published in the Collection of Laws.
The Act responds to the emergency situation in connection with the crisis measures which were adopted by the Government of the Czech Republic due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Act regulates some aspects of admission and enrolment in universities, regulation of study conditions and its completion by state examination, university decision-making and assessment.
This Act entered into force on the day of its publication in the Collection of Laws and applies to public, private and state universities.
