The CHEP conference provides an international forum to exchange information on computing experience and needs for the High Energy and Nuclear Physics community, and to review recent, ongoing, and future activities. The primary topics are Grid solutions for High Performance Computing and Data Storage, Databases, Collaborative tools and their deployment for the international particle and nuclear physics community. The importance of these topics is enhanced in the context of start of data production of the LHC experiments at CERN.
