The main objective of this programme is especially support, quality enhancement and expansion of care of gifted students at high schools who are able to reach excellent results. Other objectives are the increase of interest and motivation of youth, educators and schools to participate in competitions and festivals and therefore the increase of knowledge level of students above the level of school educational programmes.
The high schools acquire points according to the success of their students at competitions on regional, national or international level. These points determine the amount of financial grant that the high schools get through which they can cover benefits for teachers working with gifted students and preparing them for the competitions.
