Czech-Norwegian Research Programme CZ09 – announcement of the Call results launched on 29 November 2013
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MEYS) announces results of the Call launched on 29
November 2013 in the framework of the Czech-Norwegian Research Programme. The overall allocation in the programme
area Bilateral Research Cooperation under the Czech-Norwegian Research Programme is 433 548 000 CZK. MEYS will
support projects approved for implementation by the amount of 138 735 000 CZK.
There were 389 proposals submitted in the Call, 6 proposals did not meet eligibility criteria and therefore they were
withdrawn from evaluation process (see attachment 3 - Lists of ineligible project proposals). In the next stage 383
project proposals were evaluated by mainly foreign independent experts and then were submitted to the Programme
Committee (PC). On the basis of the PC recommendation the Minister approved awarding of the grant to 19 project
proposals (see attachment 1 – List of projects with awarding of the grant). The Minister approved 7 project proposals
in the reserve list (see attachment 2) containing project proposal with a good quality which cannot be realised not
having relevant financial means available. In total 357 project proposals were not approved to awarding of the grant.
MEYS in a close collaboration with the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic is seeking for further possibilities which would allow realisation of at least some project proposals from the reserve list.
The results of the call were announced on 15 July 2014.
