Recognition of professional qualification

Whole Article Wednesday, 23. March 2016   /   _MARWEL_MI_ARTICLE_PUBLISHED: Gregůrková Lucie

Recognition of a professional qualification is a necessary condition for the practise of a regulated profession if that qualification has been obtained in another Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland. It focuses on assessing the knowledge and skills of a specific person, with this knowledge and skills being possible to prove by a document of formal qualification (education and preparation) but also by a document of an actual performance of the relevant activity or other document. The outcome of the process of professional recognition is a decision as to whether the person in question has sufficient knowledge and skills to be able to perform the specific profession or activity.

Whole Article Wednesday, 23. March 2016   /   _MARWEL_MI_ARTICLE_PUBLISHED: Gregůrková Lucie

Title VIII of Act 18/2004 Coll. on recognition of professional qualification introduces the declaration of temporal or occasional pursuit of regulated profession (i.e.provision of services), which the provider shall submit to the competent recognition authority.
